Lego Masters Suomi 2024 Print N Stuff Kevät -Unisex Bomber Jacket nellonen ruutu Esa Nousiainen

Wait, What? My Design on Finnish National TV!

Yes, you read that right!
A few days ago, I had the surreal experience of seeing one of my own bomber jackets—worn by Esa Nousiainen—appear on Finnish National TV in the first episode of Lego Masters Suomi. The featured piece? My Kevät Unisex Bomber Jacket.

It all began back in early summer, around June, when a well-known stylist from Turku, Effi Bangura, discovered my shop’s profile on social media. After a few exchanged messages, we agreed to collaborate on the styling project she was curating for the show. I shared several pieces with her, though with no guarantee any would make it to the screen.

Then, later in the summer, I got an email from Effi—my Kevät Bomber Jacket and Valkovuokko T-shirt had both been selected to be worn in the show! To say I was thrilled would be an understatement!

As September rolled around, I started seeing ads for Lego Masters Suomi everywhere: on social media, at bus stations, and even on TV, all promoting the show’s premiere on October 24. Imagine my surprise when I realized my bomber jacket was front and center in all these promos, worn by one of the show’s hosts! I was over the moon.

Then came October 24. Thursday night, Finnish national TV, Nelonen channel—there I was, standing in front of the TV, buzzing with excitement as the show began. And there it was—my jacket on screen!

In that moment, I felt an overwhelming mix of joy and pride, and I’ll admit, I teared up a bit. It was like every late night, every penny invested, every challenge I faced to keep this business alive had led me to this moment of recognition. The best part? The episode is available to stream on Ruutu, so this incredible achievement will live on, giving Print N Stuff a lasting presence on Finnish screens.

Getting this kind of exposure as a small business—especially as a foreign entrepreneur—isn’t easy. Building connections, gaining visibility, and having the confidence to share my work has been a journey of its own. Just two years ago, Print N Stuff started from my love for art and fashion, and now I find myself with an opportunity I never would have dreamed of.

In March 2025, Print N Stuff will celebrate its third anniversary. With this milestone on the horizon, I’m excited to see what new opportunities arise and how many more people will discover my designs and my story.

A big thank you to Effi for making this dream come true and to each one of you for supporting my journey. Your support keeps Print N Stuff alive and thriving.

With love,
C
